Alexandra Myhal is the newest Valley Vet

Alexandra Myhal grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and recently graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota Morris. While in Minnesota she spent time with a mixed animal practice that introduced her to food animal medicine and the joys of a rural community. Her interest in food animal medicine, specifically dairy, continued at Ohio State. While at Ohio State she was a member of the Food Animal Club, AABP, and participated in Dairy Challenge. During the summers and her clinical year, she traveled the United States working with dairy veterinarians in Minnesota, Michigan, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico. After graduation she participated in the Cornell Summer Dairy Institute, a summer course with a wide variety of dairy management topics and speakers.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Alexandra enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Nadia Torok joins Valley Veterinarians

Dr. Nadia Torok recently graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA.  A native of Orange, CA, Nadia has dreamed of being a large animal veterinarian since childhood, thanks to her involvement in a local 4H club.  She attained a bachelors degree in animal science at UC Davis, where her interests in genetics, reproductive physiology and their applications in animal agriculture were fueled.  In veterinary school, she enjoyed being a member of the student chapter of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners and helped lead the Christian Veterinary Missions student fellowship.  Nadia has had the privilege of serving with Christian Veterinary Missions on two trips to Nicaragua to provide veterinary services for both small and large animals (although she enjoyed working most with the local ranchers and their cattle).  She’s excited to be a part of the amazing team at Valley Veterinarians, and looks forward to pursuing her interest in herd health and advanced reproductive technologies.
